The facility provides three indoor padel courts to WPT specification, a café and pro shop with seating, and men's and women's WCs. Short-stay cycle parking is available in the external area. Free parking is available in the car park, including a designated accessible bay.

3. Making a Booking

All bookings must be made in advance through the Padel Play online booking platform at padel-play.uk or such other booking system as Padel Play may operate from time to time. Bookings are accepted subject to availability and are not confirmed until the customer receives written confirmation by email.

The customer making the booking must be aged 18 or over and warrants that they are. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all members of their group are aware of and comply with these Terms and Conditions, the facility rules and any instructions given by Padel Play staff.

A completed Activity Waiver (PP-FORM-001) and Pre-Activity Health Declaration (PAR-Q, PP-FORM-002) must be completed by every participant before their first session. Padel Play reserves the right to refuse court access to any person who has not completed these forms.

4. Payment

Court hire fees are payable in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Current rates are published on the Padel Play website. Padel Play reserves the right to amend rates at any time; any amendment will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.

Payment is accepted by credit or debit card. Padel Play does not accept cash for advance bookings. Cash payment may be accepted for walk-in bookings at the discretion of the Duty Manager. Corporate and block booking accounts may be invoiced monthly in arrears by prior written agreement, with payment terms of 14 days from the date of invoice.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

  • More than 48 hours before the session: full refund or credit to your account.
  • 24 – 48 hours before the session: 50% refund or full credit to your account.
  • Less than 24 hours before the session: no refund. A credit may be offered at Padel Play's discretion in exceptional circumstances.
  • No-show: no refund. The full booking fee is forfeited.
  • Cancellation by Padel Play (e.g. court maintenance, emergency closure or force majeure): full refund or credit. Padel Play will not be liable for any additional costs or losses incurred.

To cancel, log in to the booking platform or email hello@padel-play.uk with your booking reference. The time of cancellation is the time the request is received by Padel Play during operating hours.

6. Amendments to Bookings

  • More than 48 hours before the original session: amendments are permitted without charge, subject to availability.
  • Less than 48 hours before the original session: the amendment is treated as a cancellation and a new booking, and the cancellation policy in Clause 5 will apply.

7. Arrival & Court Use

Customers should arrive at the facility no more than 15 minutes before their booked session start time, ready to play. On arrival, staff will confirm your court number and your session finish time. A ten-minute warning is given before the end of every session.

Court sessions begin and end at the times specified in the booking confirmation. Sessions will not be extended if the customer arrives late, and the full fee remains payable. Courts must be vacated promptly at the end of the booked session to allow the next booking to commence on time. Padel Play reserves the right to charge for any time used beyond the booked session at the applicable hourly rate.

The last session of the day ends no later than 22:00. All customers must have left the building and the external areas by 22:30. This is a condition of the planning permission for the facility.

8. Facility Rules & Conduct

All customers and their guests must comply with the Padel Play Facility Rules, displayed at the facility and available on request. Key rules include:

  • Appropriate non-marking court shoes must be worn at all times on court. No street shoes, running shoes or studded footwear.
  • Protective eyewear is strongly recommended for all players.
  • No food, chewing gum, glass bottles, hot drinks or alcohol to be consumed on court.
  • No smoking, vaping or use of illegal substances anywhere within the facility.
  • Maximum of 4 players per court at any time during a standard court hire session.
  • Spectators remain in the café and seating area and not court-side.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times unless enrolled in a supervised coaching session.
  • Bags and belongings must be kept clear of walkways and fire exits.
  • Customers must behave respectfully towards other customers, staff and the facility at all times. Abusive, threatening or violent behaviour will result in immediate removal without refund.
  • The facility operates as a closed envelope building. External doors must not be propped open at any time.
  • Please leave quietly when departing, particularly during evening sessions, out of consideration for neighbours.

Padel Play reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any customer who fails to comply with these rules or whose conduct is deemed, in the reasonable opinion of Padel Play staff, to be a risk to themselves, other customers or the facility.

9. Equipment Hire

Racket hire and ball hire are available at additional charge, subject to availability. Hired rackets are issued against your booking and must be returned to the counter at the end of your session. Rackets are checked on issue and on return. The wrist strap must be worn at all times when using a hired racket.

Customers use hired equipment at their own risk. Hired equipment must be returned in the same condition as received; customers will be charged for damage caused by misuse and for any item not returned. Customers are welcome to use their own rackets and equipment; Padel Play accepts no responsibility for personal equipment brought to the facility.

10. Café & Pro Shop

The café serves hot and cold drinks and light refreshments. Allergen information for all products is available at the counter — please ask a member of staff before ordering if you have an allergy or intolerance. Food and drink purchased at the café must be consumed in the seating area and not taken onto the courts. Customers may not bring their own alcohol onto the premises.

11. Health, Safety & Liability

Padel is a physically demanding sport. Customers participate entirely at their own risk. All participants must complete a PAR-Q before their first session. Customers with a medical condition that may be affected by physical activity are strongly advised to seek medical advice before participating.

Padel Play will not be liable for any personal injury sustained during a session unless caused directly by the negligence of Padel Play, its employees or agents. Padel Play will not be liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings brought to the facility. No lockers or secure storage are provided. Customers are advised to bring valuables only where necessary and to keep them with them at all times.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits Padel Play's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Padel Play maintains public liability insurance of not less than £10,000,000 in respect of any single incident.

12. Photography & Social Media

Customers consent to Padel Play taking photographs and video within the facility for use in marketing materials, social media and press. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform a member of staff before your session. Customers may photograph and share content from the facility on personal social media, provided that other customers' privacy is respected and no footage is used commercially without written consent from Padel Play. Photography of any kind in the WC areas is strictly prohibited.

13. CCTV

CCTV operates throughout the building and car park for the safety and security of customers and staff. Footage is processed in accordance with UK GDPR, retained for a limited period and accessed only by authorised personnel. There is no CCTV coverage of the WC interiors.

14. Data Protection & Privacy

Padel Play processes customers' personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, for the purposes of booking management, membership administration, facility safety (including the storage of health declarations) and, where separately consented, marketing communications. Personal data will not be shared with third parties except where required for the operation of the booking platform, payment processing, or as required by law. Customers have the right to access, correct or delete their personal data — contact hello@padel-play.uk.

Members may cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice; no partial monthly refunds will be given. Padel Play reserves the right to amend membership benefits or pricing with 30 days' written notice, and may terminate a membership immediately and without refund in the event of breach of these Terms or the facility rules.

16. Force Majeure

Padel Play shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, fire, flood, extreme weather, pandemic, strike, government action, power failure or failure of third-party services. In such circumstances Padel Play will endeavour to reschedule affected bookings or provide a credit.

17. Governing Law & Complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

Complaints should be raised with the Duty Manager in the first instance; if not resolved, email hello@padel-play.uk. We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 working days.

18. Amendments to These Terms

Padel Play reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The current version is always available at padel-play.uk/terms.
